Bob Jones Boys (3-2) pick up their 3rd straight win in a tough game on the road at Vestavia Tuesday night. BJ started slow in this one, trailing 9-2 after the first five minutes of play and played from behind for all of the first half. Eric Marrow hit a three pointer at the buzzer to end the first half and draw the score to 22-21. The Patriots defense was able to change the momentum out of the half, holding Vestavia to 3-11 shooting in the 3rd quarter and taking a four point lead into the 4th. After a back and forth 4th quarter, the Patriots were able to finish the game on a 5-0 run and leave Vestavia with the win. Kaden Rickard scored 8 of his game high 19 points in the 4th quarter. Jaylen Rice (11 points) and Eric Marrow (13 points) were also in double figures on the night. Bob Jones returns home Friday night (Nov. 22) to take on Hazel Green.
