THE HUNTSVILLE TEAM “LEIS” AN EGG ON THE SCOREBOARD THANKS TO A STINGY DEFENSE

The second visitor from Huntsville returned home empty-handed after the defense dominated and the offense once again pushed the scoreboard toward the half-century mark. With a 42–0 victory, our Patriots move to 4–0 on the season and 2–0 in region play. Players on both sides of the ball put up impressive numbers. A strong week of practice should prepare the Patriots for a trip west of I-65, where they’ll look to continue the momentum from the first four games.

The defense stood tall, led by standout performances from Romeo Washington and Mason Johnson. Washington recorded 12 tackles, including an impressive 5 tackles for loss, while Johnson totaled 11 tackles. The upcoming opponent west of I-65 will face a serious challenge against this defensive unit.

On offense, the Patriots again posted big numbers while closing in on the 50-point mark. Quarterback Gakobey Gill went 15 of 25 for 253 passing yards. Two receivers carried the load: Rhys Dorsey hauled in 6 catches for 109 yards, while BJ Carter added 2 receptions for 93 yards ; an incredible 46.5 yards per catch. The ground game was led by Jaden Rice, who ran 10 times for 123 yards, averaging 12 yards per carry. The offensive line deserves recognition once again for giving Gill and the backs room to shine.

This Friday night, BJ travels across I-65 in search of tougher competition. So far, opponents have struggled to slow down or score against the Patriots. Fans, come out and travel with the team to keep the energy high as the Patriots look to extend their winning streak. See you there!
