Coach Dave Wuis is entering his 1st season at Bob Jones. Wuis has an extensive coaching resume which most recently includes head varsity baseball coach at Harper Creek High School in Battle Creek, MI. Wuis led a very young Beavers team to a 20-10 record and took 2nd overall in the Interstate 8 Conference during the 2023 season. 

A Native of Kalamazoo, MI. Wuis was a three sport athlete (Baseball, Football, Basketball) and a 1st team All-State Catcher at Comstock High School. Wuis was a multiple year recipient of All Conference, All District, & All Region Honors from his catching position. He went on to play baseball at Carthage College in Kenosha, WI. under Golden Spikes Award Winner Coach Augie Schmidt. Following his college career Wuis spent three years at Comstock High School in Kalamazoo, MI. where he was a varsity assistant coach under MHSAA Hall of Fame Coach Rich Bailey.

In 2018 Wuis founded and continues to operate Top Tier Michigan and Top Tier Southeast (Georgia, Tennessee) -  travel baseball programs operating under Top Tier Baseball in Chicago, Illinois. During his time with Top Tier, Wuis had the honor of being named Head Coach for the Top Tier Select and Team Mizuno national teams. Wuis’ teams earned an Elite 8 appearance with Team Mizuno in ‘22 and brought home the Silver Medal for the USA Baseball FUTURES Invitational held at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, NC. in ‘23. Wuis has also been a USA Baseball Midwest NTIS Scout and won a Gold and Bronze Medal with the USA Baseball Midwest NTIS teams in ‘21.
